In the late 1890s, French artists tried to answer the question what did the year 2000 look like. The artists, Jean-Marc Côté and others, extrapolated from the technologies already reshaping their world — industry, mechanization, electrification — and got insightfull visions. But in other hand some images miss in the way most futures visions do: they stretch the present technologies and apply them in a futuristic way without totally reimagining the technologies.

It will be a fun challange to do the same envision of the 22th century with a 21th century human experience. I imagine everything will evolve around more and more AI/Robots and crazy new technologies we cannot ever think of without going through the journey of discovering them.
