I have always advised friends and colleagues that in life we should always have backup plans. I have been living the Plan A: steady job, income, traveling, meeting people. But still thinking and building the plan B in case something goes bad with plan A.
I always seen plan B as the backup plan, a small house surrendered by nature in the woods, not far from the ocean to go kitesurf on the weekends, a simpler self-sufficient life and as importantly a swing on the porch.
As I got older I realised that the real plan was always the plan B; plan A was just a way to achieve it so I could spend my evenings looking at night sky swinging on the porch.
